Aave's "Liquidation Wall of Fame" Exposed: Potential Support of 43,500 ETH Received, Sinkhole Reaches 68,900 ETH
BlockBeats News, April 24th, following the rsETH security incident, Aave is facing a funding shortfall of approximately 68,900 ETH (about $160 million) (the hacker borrowed 99,600 ETH, and Arbitrum froze 30,700 ETH). In response, Aave has led the establishment of the "DeFi United" joint rescue mechanism, which has currently received potential support of about 43,500 ETH. The main participants include:· Lido Finance: 2,500 stETH (proposal stage)· EtherFi Foundation: 5,000 ETH (proposal stage)· Stani Kulechov: 5,000 ETH (personal contribution)· Golem Foundation: 1,000 ETH· Mantle: 30,000 ETH (proposal stage) In addition, Ethena, LayerZero, Ink Foundation, Tydra, and others have also declared their support, but specific amounts have not been disclosed. Overall, the current rescue scale is still insufficient to fully cover the shortfall. The DeFi industry is attempting to complete key repairs through a "united blood transfusion" mechanism before systemic risk spreads.
