Data: Ethereum treasury company’s staking income accounts for 60% of its disclosed revenueAccording to Odaily, a report from Everstake shows that among the six Ethereum treasury companies that separately disclose staking-related income, staking income accounts for an average of 60% of their reported revenue. The report reviewed 15 publicly traded companies with Ethereum treasury strategies, among which the companies reporting losses in 2025 had a combined net loss of approximately $1.41 billion. In addition, BitMine Immersion Technologies reported a net loss of $902 million in the six months ended February 28, mainly driven by unrealized losses on digital assets. The report points out that spot crypto spot ETFs have diminished the appeal of listed companies that simply hold Ethereum, forcing treasury companies to justify their valuations through yield strategies such as staking.

Economic Confidence Index plunges to -45, hitting its lowest point since October 2022; 10% of Americans frequently use installment payments.(1) The Gallup Economic Confidence Index declined again in May, dropping from -38 in April to -45, marking the lowest point since October 2022 and reflecting the continued rise in pessimism among Americans regarding the economy. (2) However, the index remains higher than the -58 low recorded in June 2022, which also occurred amid a macro environment of high inflation and surging gasoline prices. (3) Another Gallup survey shows that about 10% of Americans frequently use installment payments for online shopping, with another 17% using them occasionally; a total of 51% of respondents have used installment payment features. (4) The proportion of households with incomes below $48,000 using installment payments is higher, with 37% reporting frequent or occasional usage, compared to 29% for middle-income groups and 21% for higher-income households. There are no statistically significant differences in usage by age, education level, or gender. (5) This survey is based on interviews conducted from April 1 to 15 with 1,024 adult Gallup panel members in the United States. Gallup did not ask about the specific types of purchases for which installment payments were used or about the related spending amounts.
