Founded in 2022, Kumo is a startup selling predictive AI software to enterprises. Its foundational model, KumoRFM, is designed for business data within data warehouses and excels at answering predictive questions. Yesterday, Nima Badieyf, Head of NVIDIA's Enterprise AI Strategic Product Partnerships, first disclosed the acquisition in a LinkedIn post welcoming Kumo to the NVIDIA team. However, he has since deleted the post. According to LinkedIn information, Kumo's three co-founders—CEO Vanja Josifovski, Chief Scientist Jure Leskovec, and Head of Engineering Hema Raghavan—joined NVIDIA in May this year.
