Gelonghui, March 16|CMB International released a research report stating that Adobe's total revenue for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 increased by 12% year-on-year to $6.4 billions, and non-GAAP net profit rose by 12% year-on-year to $2.49 billions, both basically in line with market expectations. The growth of total annual recurring revenue (ARR) slowed to 10.9% year-on-year, compared to 11.5% in the previous quarter, mainly due to the weakness in the traditional Adobe Stock business and the company's strategy to boost free monthly active users (MAU). In addition, the company announced an upcoming change of CEO, which further increased short-term uncertainty. However, management reiterated its financial targets for fiscal year 2026, including total revenue growth of 9% to 10% year-on-year and year-end total ARR growth of 10.2%. Based on concerns about intensifying competition in artificial intelligence applications, the bank lowered its target price to $350 and maintained a "Buy" rating.

FTSE 100 Index attempts to rebound on Monday, led by energy stocks⑴ The FTSE 100 Index rose by 0.3% on Monday, attempting to rebound after three consecutive trading days of decline. US President Trump increased pressure on other countries to assist in reopening the Strait of Hormuz and stated that the US is negotiating with Iran. Mining stocks Fresnillo dropped 1.3% and Antofagasta fell 1%, as gold and copper prices declined for the fourth consecutive trading day.
