In January, the average daily stock trading volume exceeded 1 trillion US dollars, reaching a record 1.03 trillion US dollars, an increase of about 50% compared to the same period in 2025. The daily number of shares traded was about 19 billion, the second highest in history. Trading activity from both retail investors and institutional funds has risen simultaneously, but amid concerns about high valuations, the continuous inflow of funds also exposes participants to higher risks.

Jinse Finance reported that bitcoin mining machine manufacturer Canaan (NASDAQ: CAN) announced its Q4 2025 financial report, with revenue reaching $196 million, a year-on-year increase of 121%, setting a new quarterly sales record for the past three years. The growth was mainly driven by large-scale mining machine orders from North America, with Canaan delivering a total of 14.6 EH/s of computing power equipment this quarter. During the quarter, the company’s mining business generated $30.4 million in revenue, mining a total of 300 bitcoins, with an implied price of approximately $101,000 per bitcoin. In addition, Canaan increased its bitcoin reserves through its proprietary mining business, holding about 1,750 bitcoins and 3,951 ethereum by the end of 2025, with a total value of approximately $165 million. In January 2026, the company mined an additional 83 bitcoins, bringing its total reserves to 1,778. Part of the growth came from converting stablecoin proceeds from mining machine sales into bitcoin. Despite the rebound in revenue, the company still reported a net loss of $85 million due to fair value losses caused by the decline in cryptocurrency prices. Canaan plans to expand into the energy and computing infrastructure sectors and has launched a 3 MW heat recovery pilot project in Canada, using mining machine heat for greenhouse heating. Revenue for Q1 2026 is expected to be between $60 million and $70 million.

The IPO price is $4. Jaguar Uranium is a junior mining company headquartered in Ontario, Canada, focusing on the exploration and development of uranium resources in South America (mainly Colombia and Argentina). Founded in 2022, the company has not yet generated revenue and mainly owns three uranium exploration projects in Latin America, including the Berlin project in Colombia, as well as the Laguna and Huemul projects in Argentina. Uranium ore is the raw material for nuclear fuel and holds significant importance in nuclear power generation and certain strategic metal by-products sectors.
